The location near the river is stunning. Just a short walk to explore the village. The staff were super friendly, really made me feel welcome. My room was cozy and had all the essentials. I loved the full English breakfast. it was massive and delicious. Dinner at the hotel was also really good. the risotto was a standout. The only downside was the bathroom. it felt a bit cramped and there was no air conditioning. A fan helped, but it would be more comfortable with better ventilation. Parking was available but limited, so arriving early is key. it’s a lovely stay for relaxing and enjoying the village atmosphere.

Quiet room with a charming character, showcasing the historical traits of an older building. Good range of breakfast options available, providing a nice start to the day after a night’s sleep.
Parking situation left a lot to be desired. it felt chaotic with limited spaces, particularly during peak hours. The room I stayed in was pretty cramped, making it difficult to move around comfortably, especially with luggage. The shower head was unreliable—a bit of a nuisance when you just want a decent rinse. Dining had its ups and downs. while some meals were decent, issues with the consistency of food quality were notable. The bathroom needed better attention—certain grime and cleanliness issues felt quite off-putting. Could use an update in decor and facilities to align with contemporary standards.
